Dewey Leroy Jacobsen

Dewey Leroy Jacobsen, 84, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Hallmar Residential Care Center, Cedar Rapids, as a result of complications of Lupus and Parkinson’s disease. There will be no services. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; daughter, Dr. Lesa Jacobsen of St. Paul, Minn.; son, Mitchell Jacobsen of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Raymond Jacobsen of Los Angeles, Calif.; niece, Mary Alice Larson of Hollister, Mo.; friends and relatives; and “granddogters,” Wolfie and Sophie-Rose.

Cards may be mailed to the family at 3205 Samuel Ct. SW, Apt. 1, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the Hallmar staff and Dr. Michael Brooks, whose wonderful care of Dewey was so appreciated.
