Donna M. Hudson

Donna M. Hudson, 83, of Keystone Cedars, Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Chaplain Bill Warhover. Burial: Linwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Wendell) Gould of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Jared Gould of Palo; and nephew, Jerry (Janet) Happel of North Liberty.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Prince; sons, David and Craig Hudson; and two stepbrothers,

Born Feb. 10, 1929, in Muscatine, Iowa, Donna was the daughter of Luther and Fern (Smith) Evans. On May 16, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo., she was united in marriage to Prince Hudson Jr. He died Dec. 10, 2009. She worked for Merchants National Bank as a loan officer, retiring after 20 years.

Donna enjoyed having her hair done and going to the casino. She loved her pets and being outdoors.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Keystone Cedars and Mercy Hospice for the loving care they gave Donna.
