Hanson, Jacob Tyler
Jacob Tyler Hanson, 16, of Mount Vernon, went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services for Jacob will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church by Dr. Frank Seydel and Pastor Becky High. Jacob's visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. The burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving Jacob are his parents, Rob and Jaimie Hanson; a brother, Joshua “Speedy”, all of Mount Vernon.
A memorial fund has been established in Jacob's honor.
