Larry Goetz

Larry Goetz, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo. Private family services will be held. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include his parents; and a brother, Glenn (Mary) Goetz of Amana, and their children, Max Goetz and Hollan Goetz, both of Cedar Rapids.

Larry was born Sept. 21, 1953, to Elaine and John Goetz of Cedar Rapids. He attended Cedar Rapids schools and majored in accounting at the University of Iowa. Larry was an easygoing and gentle soul who gifted his tissue to the Iowa Donor Network.
