Dorothy A. Fritz

Dorothy A. Fritz, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, before the service, at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include children, Sharon Dunn, Kathy (Larry LaBarge) Fritz and Tom (Bonnie) Fritz, all of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Matt (Sarah) Fritz, Carrie (Dan) Wohlers and Valerie (Andy) Graves; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Lucas; and sister, Glady Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; son-in-law, Thomas Dunn; and two brothers.

Dorothy was born on March 11, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Joe and Tillie Topinka. She worked in the Jefferson High School cafeteria. Dorothy married Raymond P. Fritz on April 15, 1945. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother.

A memorial fund has been established.
