Raymond J. Franzenburg, 82, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart, following an extended illness. Private Family Services were held at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone with the Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment was held at the Keystone Cemetery.

Raymond was born July 12, 1930, in Keystone, to Otto and Esther (Holst) Franzenburg.

He is survived by his brother and sisters, Don (Patricia) Franzenburg of Belle Plaine, Phyllis Haack of Marengo, Linda (Dennis) Lettow of West Des Moines and Connie (John) Mullan of Cedar Falls; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents; his stepmother, Lola Franzenburg; and his sister, Anita Senne.
