Annie Evans

Annie Evans, 29, of Winthrop, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012. Services: 3 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Dr. Charles Clark. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Jason R. Evans; her children, Shelby, Ethan, Vincent, David and Shawn; her parents, Larry and Carol Gabrielson of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Jamie (Carl) Randall, Sarah (James) Rhea and Rose (Tony) Benjamin, all of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Rosie Rizzio.

Annie was born Jan. 7, 1983, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Carol Hill Gabrielson. She married Jason R. Evans on Nov. 1, 2009, in Atkins, Iowa. Annie loved horses, photography and taking her nephews fishing. She also loved gardening and cooking with home grown vegetables from her garden. Annie was a part of Miracles in Motion. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Annie was proud of her Italian heritage.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
