Sarah Beth (McNitt) Eike

Sarah Beth (McNitt) Eike, 87, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr. Funeral services for Sarah were held 2 p.m. Feb. 13 at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda. Interment followed the service in the Clarinda Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lawrence (Becky) Eike of Amana, Becky (Steve) Shilhanek of Clarinda, John Eike of Albuquerque, N.M., and Rachel Eike of Clarinda; grandchildren: Travis Eike of Cedar Rapids; Michelle (Alan) Kirchert of Clarinda, their children, Blake, Devon and Madison; Chris (Jennifer) Shilhanek of Winterset, their children, Lacy, Reyna, McCartney, Lennon and Harrison; Jennifer (Tim) Bramble of Clarinda, their children, Jenna and Tyson; Sandra Anderson of Kansas City, Mo.; and Steven Anderson of Owasso, Mich.; brother, Bert (Wanda) McNitt of Vinton; sister-in-law, Opal of Des Moines; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
