Wilma L. Crosson, 98, of Brooklyn, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Brooklyn Community Estate, Brooklyn. Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn, with the Rev. John Dodds officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the church. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established.
She is survived by two children, David Crosson and wife Natalie Hala of San Francisco, Calif., and Carolyn Rathjen and husband Roger of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Randy Rhinehart of Milton, Fla., Kyle (Jessica) Rhinehart of West Des Moines, Trevor (Kris) Crosson of Des Moines, Elizabeth (Robert) Davis of Minneapolis and Jacob Crosson of Atlanta, Ga.; and seven great-grandchildren, Cain, Mac, Macie and Rian Crosson, Emerson and Jasper Davis and Corbin Crosson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Maude Johnson Dye; her husband, Jack P. Crosson; and a sister, Glenna Blier.
