Allen Ray Cory, 63, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Buchanan County Health Long Term Care Center in Independence. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop. Inurnment: Wilson Cemetery, east of Independence. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include one daughter, Rachele Cory of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Jason (Tebi) Cory of Colorado and Alex Cory of Texas; four grandchildren; and five brothers, David (Barbara) Cory of San Antonio, Texas, Donald Cory of Independence, Ken (Sandy Jean) Johnson of Independence, Terry Johnson of Cedar Rapids and Harold Johnson of Winthrop.
