Marjorie E. Cannon, 88, of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Jan. 2, 2013, at Brooklyn Community Estate, Brooklyn. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Brooklyn, with Father Philip Ryan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Joe (Patricia) of Murrieta, Calif., Jim (Donna) of Sioux Falls, S.D., John of Brooklyn, Tom of Urbana, Mary Cataldo (Mike) of Chaska, Minn., Rita Sauer (Kent) of Center Point and Teresa Kriegel (Phil) of Brooklyn; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna (Ostrom) Ryan; her spouse, Francis Cannon; a sister, Maxine Wenger; and a brother, Max Ryan.
