Busch, Jean A.
Jean A. Busch, 89, of Lost Nation, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, 2012, at Hiawatha Care Center. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Lost Nation Cemetery, Lost Nation, Iowa. The family has honored her wishes and the body has been cremated. Lahey Funeral & Cremation Services in Lost Nation is in charge of arrangements.
Jean was born April 4, 1923, in Clarence, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence A. and Margaret (Banks) Davis. She graduated from Clarence High School. On Dec. 20, 1941, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Harold Busch in Kahoka, Mo. He died on Aug. 26, 1989.
Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lost Nation. Jean liked to read, walk, travel and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (David) DeMoss of Anamosa and Barbara LaMaack of Marion; one son, Randy (Patricia) Busch of Marion; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan (Jim) Goodin of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Robert.
