Kenneth R. "K.R." Brannian

Kenneth R. “K.R.” Brannian, 85, of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Brooklyn Community Estate in Brooklyn. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn, with the Rev. John Dodds officiating. Burial will be at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Kloster Funeral Home in Brooklyn. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Esther of Brooklyn; two daughters, Jeanne Clayton (Rusty) of Brooklyn and Kim Bauman (Lyle) of Brooklyn; one son, Kurt (Kim) Brannian of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Lauren Dillon (Eric) of Chicago, Reed Clayton of Ames, Wyatt Bauman and Allison Bauman of Mount Vernon, Brock Brannian and Holly Brannian of Carlisle; and two brothers, Keith and Donald Brannian of Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, David, in infancy.

A memorial fund has been established.
