Ruth E. Bemrich

Ruth E. Bemrich, 83, of the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester, formerly of Independence and Belmond, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 19, 2013, at the Good Neighbor Home.

She is survived by four children, Darrell (Mary) Bemrich, East Moline, Ill., Diane Bemrich, Independence, Jerry (Patti) Bemrich, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Deb (Dan) Toale, Independence; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Arlene Hinrichs, Buffalo, Minn., Margaret Hinrichs, Burnsville, Minn., and Dorothy Lyon, Mallard, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale, on Dec. 31, 2012; and two brothers, Kenneth and Wesley Stafford.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with burial at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Belmond. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
