Dale J. Bemrich

Dale J. Bemrich, 82, of Independence, died Monday evening, Dec. 31, 2012, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Manchester; four children, Darrell (Mary) Bemrich, East Moline, Ill., Diane Bemrich, Independence, Jerry (Patti) Bemrich, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Deb (Dan) Toale, Independence; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Esther Rooney, Dyersville.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with Sharon Bainbridge officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Belmond. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Thursday until services at the funeral home.
