Anhalt, William A.
WASHINGTON - William A. Anhalt, 56, of Washington, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a stroke. A gathering celebrating William's life will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Fourth Avenue Bar & Grill in Washington, Iowa.
His family includes two children, Joshua Anhalt (Trista) of Cedar Rapids and Katelyn Anhalt of Cedar Rapids; one granddaughter, Aviva; brother, Tom Anhalt of Burlington; sister, Linda Davis of Cedar Rapids; along with a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vicky Richards; and a niece, Amy Davis.
William was born Feb. 7, 1954, in Burlington, the son of Phillip and Jean (Bischoff) Anhalt. For many years he has worked in this area as a draftsman and designer in the construction field.
