Beverly J. Aldrich, 77, of Brandon, Iowa, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Beverly was born on Nov. 2, 1935, in Osceola, Iowa, the daughter of Walter C. and Mildred E. (Sutton) Williams. In 1946 she moved with her family to the Brandon, Iowa, area where she graduated from Brandon High School in 1953. On April 21, 1954, she was united in marriage to George B. Aldrich in St. John’s Catholic Church in Independence, Iowa. Beverly worked as a telephone operator in several communities while her husband served in the military. Upon George’s discharge from the military the couple returned to the Brandon area and farmed.

Beverly is survived by her husband, George Aldrich, Brandon, Iowa; three children, Pamela (Russell) Weber, Marion, Iowa, Daniel Aldrich, Brandon, Iowa, and Angela (Danny) Halligan, Brandon, Iowa; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Randall Williams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Independence, Iowa, with the Rev. Don Plamondon officiating. Burial will be in the Brandon Cemetery, Brandon, Iowa. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friday and a parish vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
