Nina Kaegbein, who was searching for her birth parents to find more about her medical history and whose story was featured in The Gazette, has already found success. Kaegbein met her uncle in Cedar Rapids and has spoken to her birth mother by phone. She plans to meet her mother, as well as her two brothers and two sisters, who all live out of state, over the holidays.
