The Solid Waste Agency is in the process of installing an impressive-looking generator and other equipment to ready to convert landfill gas into electricity at the Site 2 landfill north of Marion.
The story will discuss capital investment and length of time it will take to recoup the upfront spending by using the electricity. It also will discuss the green benefit of reducing methane emissions.
