If at first you don’t succeed, try again, but if you fail this time the judge may not give you another chance.

Bobby Wolf, 31, of Waterloo, who faces charges stemming from a high speed chase last summer that resulted in a total loss of police vehicle and damages to two others, plans once again to plead guilty to three felonies Thursday in Linn district Court. On Tuesday, Wolf was ready to plead but the judge rejected his plea because he wouldn’t admit his guilt.

The judge asked if he intentionally crashed into the police vehicles but Wolf  said he didn’t remember much of that day. The judge immediately stopped the hearing and told his lawyer they could come back and try it another day.

Wolf is set to plead guilty 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
