Johannes 60th Anniversary Jerry and Celeste Johannes of Cedar Rapids celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They married on May 16, 1953. The former Celeste Zbornik and Jerome Johannes exchanged vows at St. John's Church in Fort Atkinson, IA. The couple have three children: Keith and Cathy Johannes of Seattle, WA; Ann and Ron Searcy of South Bend, IN and Kay and Brad Hess of Cedar Rapids. Their five grandchildren are Eric Johannes, Elizabeth and Kathryn Searcy and Jessica and Elliot Hess. A family get-together is planned for later this summer.
