Votroubek - Karr Brent Votroubek and Carissa Karr were united in marriage on November 2, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel in Solon, IA, with a reception following at the Celebration Farm. Carissa is the daughter of David and Mindy Karr. Brent is the son of Mark and Wendy Votroubek and Sara Votroubek. Carissa is a University of Iowa graduate, currently working on her Masters of Business Administration, and is employed at Rockwell Collins. Brent, a California State University, Northridge graduate is employed at Skogman Realty with The Votroubek Real Estate Group. The couple honeymooned in Maui, HI and reside in Cedar Rapids.
