Burkhart - Ilten Katherine Anne Burkhart and Peter Jay Ilten were united in marriage on June 16, 2012 in Minneapolis, MN. A 2002 graduate of CR Washington, Peter is the son of Ellen and David Dennis, Cedar Rapids, Jay and Barbra Ilten, Holy Cross, IA and grandson of Elaine Peters and Eugene Ilten, Cedar Rapids. Peter is a 2006 graduate of Luther College, received his M.Ed. from the Univ. of Minnesota in 2010 and teaches English at Southwest Junior High in Forest Lake, MN. Katie is the daughter of Drs. Kenneth Burkhart and Tressa Wilcox, Atlantic, IA. A 2004 graduate of St. Olaf College, she received her law degree from the Univ. of Iowa in 2008, and is an attorney with Fredrikson and Byron in Minneapolis.
