Not sure this makes my top ten but Iowa V Michigan in 2009 was awesome.
Another might be 2009 Indiana game.
But now that I think about it, one could darn near include every game from the 2009 season. Maybe I have a short memory, but those games were exciting.
So the previous comment can jump all over me too. Its great Hyde was an MVP. It’s well earned. I am sure Ferentz is a good lineman and a fine American, but when ANY offensive lineman on ANY team is considered the MVP in an evolving football game (passing that is), its a sign of [...]
In all honesty, (and I promise not to be an over emotional fan) I am amazed Iowa is not last in all passing categories. I was shocked to see Iowa is 7th in the B1G for pass yds per game. I wonder how 192 pass yds per game stacks up against the other BCS conferences?

With respect to the title, PSU deserves no special treatment just because of their situation. They’re not special. They deserve and should expect the same heckling every team that visits Kinnick gets. My comment rules!

I remember declaring that this hire was a bust and Bowlsby screwed up by not getting Stoops. Iowa was going to change from a football school to a basketball school under the leadership of Steve Alford. Good thing I’m not fortune teller.

I’m impressed you took the time to work out a schedule. It looks like you have another job lined up in case this one falls through.
Travis Krundle commented on the blog post Do you agree with Bob Costas or James Carville? Should Penn State suspend its football program for a year? 11 months, 1 week ago · View
This is tough. I find it hard to punish an 18-21 year old football player who has nothing to do with this situation. Costas said collateral damage happens. I disagree. SMU was banished because it seemed half of the team and administration was involved. Why not find a compromise? Big time universities (Iowa included) are [...]

Awesome actor. Awesome show. I can’t say I watched the show in the later years (less Barney Fife) but I’m sure to watch several episodes this weekend.

“Ann Arbor is cold, small, and has no beaches.” Which is why the SEC/USC/anywhere south will continue to win national championships (6 in a row i believe). Michigan gets a notch above Iowa because…they’re Michigan. Obviously a much more storied tradition than Iowa. Even so, my money is on someone from the South or California [...]

Because its Iowa City and not Cali or Florida beaches. Oh and its flippin cold in the winter!

Iowa will certainly be an under. I have a hunch Nebraska is an over and Wisco is an under. I see Michigan going 10-2 or 11-1. so an easy over. The biggest plunge will be Penn State.
