Aplington-Parkersburg volunteer assistant football coach Milt Ulfers denied Friday afternoon the Des Moines Register report that the school has named co-coaches for its football team.

If district scores mean anything, the Class 3A boys’ state golf tournament is anybody’s race. Seven of the eight teams qualified with scores within 13 strokes of each other.
