At some point Obama will lose the support of the majority, and everything will come crashing down on him. Lets take a look at the scandals in this administration. 1. Fast and furious: One officer dead and unknown number of Mexicans dead. Thousands of weapons missing. 2. Solyndra: Billions of dollars transfered to Obama doners. [...]

“Intimidation can’t be retroactively generated.” The intimidation is going on right now. Pick your scandal. Holder is still under contempt of congress, Benghazi, AP records, or IRS. The message is out. If you talk, this administration will find out you talked. This is about stopping NEW leakers. And not leaks about classified info, they want [...]

The bill of rights is a piece of paper inked in the blood of patriots. Tens of MILLIONS of Americans have sworn to defend this piece of paper. It is the core of who we are. And yes, I do blieve it can protect the citizens agaist an over reaching tyranical government. It has a [...]

The administration isn’t intimidating the media, they are going after the sources. This administration has prosecuted twice as many leakers as all other administrations combined. If you take the fish out of the pond, you can tell the media to cast away without any fear of them catching anything. “So the government is eavesdropping on [...]
Brad Fisher commented on the blog post Do you think the Obama administration has tried to cover up the Benghazi incident? 1 week, 4 days ago · View
Fast and Furious, bribes to get Obamacare passed, Benghazi, IRS intimidation of Tea Party groups, and wire taps on AP reporters. Nothing to see here. Move along. Only low level people are responsible. It’s old news.
This administration is starting to make Nixon look like a boy scout.

I recently read an editorial in the Iowa State Daily that explains why gun owners think the way they do. Here is an exert: “Gun people don’t trust anti-gun people because while they were crying about the victims of 9/11 or Aurora or Sandy Hook, and thanking God they weren’t there, I and many other [...]

Sometimes, compromise means one side won. Obamacare is an example. The left love to say how that was a bipartisan bill, even love to site how it resembled Romney’s Mass plan, however, many on the right feel that got rammed down their throats. The media is now praising the Conn gun bill that is about [...]

First, I don’t really care. Second, if two people want to get married, i say let them. However, there is a legal problem here. If the court redefines marriage this time for equality, would that not open the door for further groups to demand equality? If any two people demand that they have a right [...]

“A good guy with a gun” requires two things. A good guy and a gun. If a burglar waits until you’re not home, it’s only a gun. The real problem comes in when the burglar is wrong, and there is a good guy home. I would contend that most non-gun owners would not want a [...]

I randomly picked 1st Ave in Marion as an example. Here are 5 properties:
2290 – increase of $9,043 – 8%
2270 – increase of $15,203 – 15%
2250 – increase of $11,118 – 11%
2230 – increase of $8,001 – 8%
2210 – increase of $8,167 – 7%Brad Fisher commented on the blog post Supervisor pay won’t go away 2 months ago · View
Besides the 4% increase, property assessments are up 10% to 25% for the home owners that I’m aware of. An extra $20,000 on everyone’s assessment will bring in a nice chunk of change for the county next year.
