Iowa and University of Northern Iowa are part of the 16-team field of the National Duals Invitational. The two-day dual tournament could produce more exposure and fanfare for dual competition.

Hawkeyes’ cornerback TJ Hall returns to his home state for Iowa’s game at USC Saturday afternoon, making it the first time he’ll play as a starter in his home state since joining the program in 2022.

King Miller and his twin brother, Kaylon, accepted a preferred walk-on offer from Southern California, their dream school, when they were seniors in high school. A red-shirt freshman, King has became the the Trojans’ top running back this season.

Only one major-college football player has scored a touchdown in all nine games this season. He will play in this game.

The Hawkeyes lost to UCLA in their road trip to California last year. Now, Iowa’s taking its lessons learned to not repeat the missteps against the No. 17 USC Trojans.

Koch is the lone returning scholarship player from last season’s Iowa men’s basketball team, and is finding the new Hawkeyes to his liking.
