Jim SlosiarekJIM SLOSIAREK is originally from Wisconsin, and has been with The Gazette since the summer of 2000. While still in college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he started his photojournalism career in 1992 at Community Newspapers Inc., a chain of weekly newspapers in suburban Milwaukee. Jim’s first daily newspaper position was with The Waukesha Freeman, west of Milwaukee. Before coming to the Hawkeye State, he worked as a staff photographer at The Journal Times in Racine, Wis., where he met his wife, Angie. They live in Cedar Rapids with their daughter. |
