Mary Nelson commented on the blog post Costs rise for downtown C.R. projects Very good point, but why trust people who can't manage the money they have with more? Floodwalls are not a guaranteed thing even if the Chamber of Commerce could manage to pass an extension of the LOST.

I can't verify it but I've read the cameras failed in California because cities can't enforce collection of the fines and the violations don't go on people's driving records, so people simply started ignoring the notices they received in the mail.
