CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids Kernels-Clinton LumberKings Midwest League baseball game at Veterans Memorial Stadium was postponed Friday night because of cold and wet weather.

The teams will play a double-header Saturday afternoon beginning at 2:05.

Captain America Night also will be moved to Saturday, with the first 1,000 fans through the gate - which open at 1:05 - receiving a free Captain America T-shirt. 2014 season magnet schedules also will be distributed.

Cedar Rapids won its season opener Thursday night, 4-3, over Clinton on a 10th-inning walk-off home run by Bryan Haar.

Members of the Kernels will greet fans at tonight's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders-Waterloo hockey game instead. That game begins at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena at approximately 7:15.
