Nothing good, fair about another casino

There is an old saying that “There is no honor among thieves.” No honor meaning a thief will mislead, misrepresent, deceive and deny to get what he wants. Thieves being the greedy casino investors and owners who are cannibalizing the people

and are worried of being

cannibalized.

If there is anything a cannibal can’t stand it is to be cannibalized. And that is the only way to break into the greedy casino slum. A Cedar Rapids casino would take away from other casinos, but the numbers depend on which side of the fence you are on.

Deceive if you already have a casino.

Deny if you want to build one.

The governor says his job is to appoint “good people who will treat people in a fair and equitable way” and that he will not interfere in the casino decision. What is good and fair about any casino? And why would a few good men (gaming commission) think Iowa ever needed 18 casinos?

The only equitable fairness of casinos is that the state has made them legalized robbery to benefit the owners and state.

It is not mandatory that anyone ever enter a casino, and people do it on their own free will.

But they should pay more attention to what the casino is making rather than what the machine is paying.
