NEW HIRES

GreatAmerica Financial Services, Cedar Rapids, announces several staff additions. They are Allison Faust (see photo), previously with IBM, as technical support dispatcher; Luke Jones (see photo), previously with Mercy Medical Center, as documentation specialist; Sam Wills (see photo), previously with Mediacom, as account support advisor; Kristen Ward (see photo), previously with Gap, as documentation specialist; and Tim Sturgell (see photo), previously with Hy-Vee, as portfolio manager.

Schmitt Telecom Partners Inc., Cedar Rapids, hired Bryan Burton (see photo) as senior account executive in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Waterloo markets.

Bankers Trust, Cedar Rapids, hired Keith Eibey (see photo), previously with Health Solutions, as a commercial portfolio manager.

TrueNorth hired Robin Dyar (see photo), previously with Mercy Medical Center, as operations project manager, and Jennifer Petsche (see photo), previously with State Farm, as Truckers Service Association member representative. Also hired were Natalie Davis (see photo), formerly with 380 Reconstruction, as corporate support, and Brandon Anderman (see photo) as computer support technician.

Infinity Contact hired Lori Anderson, previously with Eli Lilly and Co., Indianapolis, as senior accounting manager.

PROMOTIONS

The Cedar Rapids Police Department recognizes seven police officers who have been promoted during the past year. They are Thomas Jonker (see photo) to deputy chief, Jeffrey Hembera (see photo) to captain, Ryan Abodeely (see photo) to lieutenant, Anthony Robinson (see photo) to lieutenant, Steven Yardley (see photo) to sergeant, Graham Campshure (see photo) to sergeant and Douglas Doyle (see photo) to sergeant.

Cedar Rapids City Manager Jeff Pomeranz named Sandi Fowler (see photo) as assistant city manager — development services. Previously she was assistant to the city manager.

Western Fraternal Life Association promoted Jack Minder (see photo) from controller to vice president and treasurer.

Infinity Contact promoted Jessica Cronbaugh from an account executive to client solutions coordinator.

Intertrade, a division of Rockwell Collins Service Solutions business, has appointed Shawn Bergquist to lead the company as its director. Bergquist was previously Intertrade’s supply chain manager.

BOARD MEMBERS

Jo Foster (see photo) of Ohnward Bank and Shawnacy Rohwedder (see photo) of Wells Fargo Bank, have joined the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids and East Central Iowa.

Emily Meyer (photo) of Ryan Companies, Steve Allsop (photo) of MediaQuest Outdoor and Andrew Morf (photo) of Acumen Benefit Advisors were elected to three-year terms on the Indian Creek Nature Center board of directors.

John Weber, a pork producer from Dysart, was elected to a one-year term as vice president of the National Pork Producers Council.

Allison Heffern, an attorney with Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, was elected president of the board of directors for Kids First Law Center.

CERTIFICATION

The Ghosh Center for Oncology & Hematology, Cedar Rapids, has been recognized for cancer care by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

NAME CHANGE

Circle Computer Resources, Cedar Rapids, was named to the MSPMentor Top 501 Managed Service Providers list for the fifth straight year.

Michael Krogmann, fleet manager at 7G Distributing LLC in Cedar Rapids, won first place national recognition in the operations division at the Anheuser-Busch “Best Practice” convention in Las Vegas.

Altorfer Inc., Cedar Rapids, was named a top performing dealer in 2013 by AGCO. The company was third in overall sales for AGCO in North America.
