Cedar Rapids will host the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships this weekend, beginning Friday morning and concluding with the championship matches Saturday night. The NCAA has released the brackets for all 10 weight classes that will be competing at the U.S. Cellular Center.
Wartburg has nine seeded wrestlers, looking for its fourth straight NCAA team title. National champions Kenny Anderson (133) and 174-pounder Landon Williams lead the way with No. 1 seeds. Former Don Bosco prep Cole Welter (165), heavyweight Ryan Fank, who is a former Independence state champion, and 125-pounder Gilberto Camacho were seeded second. Wartburg's Brett Yonkovic, a former West Delaware prep, is the No. 8 seed at 157.
Coe has two wrestlers seeded. Dimitri Boyer and Ethan Ball are both No. 2 seeds at 157 and 174, respectively. Luther matched Coe with two seeded in the top eight. All-American Evan Obert is seeded fourth at 133, while former South Winneshiek prep Jayden DeVilbiss is the No. 7 seed at 184.
Cornell's NCAA runner-up Alex Coolidge is the top seed at 197.
