You recently published a complaint about the photos on your back page (“Perhaps readers should submit for ‘Snapshots’,” Feb. 23 by Duane Crock). I think they are

wonderful.

The rest of the paper tells and shows us what is going on here. It is valuable to learn about and try to understand people other than ourselves — how they look and what they do differently from us as well as what they share with us.

The back-page photos are a great credit to The Gazette as well as the brain-exercising puzzles and the battling comics of Mallard Fillmore and Doonesbury. Thank you for all these pleasures (but please expand tennis coverage on the sports page.)
