This is kind of remarkable in a really bad way for the Iowa men's basketball team:

Over the last three games (in the last one-fourth of the regular season), five opposing players have scored career-highs in victories over Iowa. I'm not talking about a scrub getting two points in garbage time. I'm talking five double-digit efforts, and in the cast of two players, a 30 and a 27.

BRONSON KOENIG, WISCONSIN

Points vs. Iowa: 12

Previous career-high: 10

Previous 2013-14 Big Ten-high: 7

Season scoring average before game: 2.9

AUSTIN HOLLINS, MINNESOTA

Points vs. Iowa: 27

Previous career-high: 21

Previous 2013-2014 Big Ten-high: 21

Season scoring average before game: 10.9

CHARLES BUGGS, MINNESOTA

Points vs. Iowa: 13

Previous career-high: 3

Previous 2013-14 Big Ten-high: 0

Season scoring average before game: 0.8

WILL SHEEHEY, INDIANA

Points vs. Iowa: 30

Previous career-high: 22

Previous 2013-14 Big Ten-high: 13

Season scoring average before game: 10.1

STANFORD ROBINSON, INDIANA

Points vs. Iowa: 17

Previous career-high: 13

Previous 2013-14 Big Ten-high: 13

Season scoring average before game: 5.9

For more fodder, Michigan's Nik Stauskas matched his career-high of 26 points against Iowa in January, and Michigan State sophomore Matt Costello scored a career-high 11 points against the Hawkeyes on Jan. 29.
