A woman turned herself in to Cedar Rapids police Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of a Colorado man.

A Wednesday afternoon release from the Colorado Springs police department said Bionca Rogers, 21, turned herself in to law enforcement early Wednesday morning.

The development comes after a missing Colorado Springs man, 61-year-old Grant Frazier, was found dead in a car in Newton, Iowa early Tuesday.

The release said detectives with the Colorado Springs police department issued a warrant for her arrest in connection with first-degree murder of Frazier. His cause of death has not yet been released.

"It has not yet been determined if Ms. Rogers acted alone," the release said.

Rogers is being held without bond at the Linn County Sheriff's office and the El Paso County District Attorney's Office, in Colorado, will be coordinating extradition efforts to get her to Colorado.

The investigation is ongoing.
