RoughRiders Tirone, Poturalski named to USHL midseason all-star team

Though we're over two-third through the United States Hockey League's regular season, the league announced its midseason all-star teams Thursday. Two Cedar Rapids RoughRiders were on them.

Goaltender Danny Tirone was selected to the Eastern Conference first team. He ranks second in the league with a .921 save percentage and is fifth in wins (18) and goals against average (2.44).

Forward Andrew Poturalski was named to the Eastern Conference second team. Poturalski is the team leader in points with 40 (13 goals, 27 assists), ranking 14th in the league.
