How the NCAA tournament field is chosen, seeded and slotted is a mystery to many of us. Reid Forgrave of FoxSports.com was privy to the insides last week when he was part of the media group that participated in a mock tournament selection process in Indianapolis.

Reid is this week's guest on the Hlas Podcast. He talks about the factors that do and don't matter to the NCAAs, and discusses how Iowa State and Iowa were viewed by the media people when it came to seeding.
