Bus driver cited for failure to yield

Marion police said a school bus involved in a three-vehicle collision at highways 151 and 13 Tuesday morning was unoccupied except for the driver.

Police said a school bus and two cars were involved in the collision at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of one of the cars, 64-year-old Joseph Strahan, was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The driver of the bus, 64-year-old Leslie Beltz, was cited for failure to yield upon making a left hand turn.
