Cedar Rapids man accused of pulling rifle on daughter

Man intended to use gun, according to police

A Cedar Rapids man is accused of pulling a gun on his daughter on Valentine's Day.

According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, police responded to 603 Third Ave. SW on Friday. There, they found 66-year-old Gary A. Sharpe with a rifle pulled on his daughter. Police said Sharpe intended to use the rifle.

Sharpe was arrested and faces one count of going armed with intent.
