Robbers, victims both arrested in Winfield case

Incident occurred in parking lot of Casey's General Store

Winfield Police have charged three people with robbery.

The alleged robbery victims have been arrested, as well.

At 2:30 a.m. Friday, Shane Yetter, 27, of New London and Trevor French, 20, of Burlington reported being robbed at gunpoint at the Casey's General Store parking lot. An investigation into the robbery led police to arrest Junior Ponce, 19, and Alezzandro Campbell, 20, both of Wapello. A juvenile female from Oakville was also arrested. All three have been charged with second-degree robbery.

Upon further investigation, police also arrested Yetter and French and charged them with delivery of marijuana.

The Winfield Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Henry and Louisa county sheriff's offices and the Wapello Police Department.
