Hawkeyes third in latest coaches poll

UNI holds strong at No. 5

The University of Iowa remained in the top three of the national rankings, while University of Northern Iowa is fifth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association/Amateur Wrestling News/USA Today NCAA Division I poll, released Tuesday.

The Hawkeyes (11-2) fell one spot after a 19-15 loss to Minnesota on Saturday. The Gophers reclaimed the No. 2 behind unanimous No. 1 Penn State.

UNI (7-0) handled Missouri, 24-10, on Friday for its second straight win over a top-10 team. The Panthers are one of only three unbeaten dual teams in the poll.

Iowa State (7-3) remained 18th in the poll.
