Hills Bank and Trust Co., Coralville, has promoted the following employees: Susan Moore (see photo) from financial reporting and risk management officer to vice president, Risk Management, in its Hills office; Dean Stockman (see photo) from vice president, Commercial Banking, to senior vice president, Commercial Banking, in its Coralville office; and Lori TeBockhorst (see photo) from first vice president, Real Estate Lender, to vice president, Real Estate Lender, in its Kalona office.

VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids has promoted David Soper (see photo) from operations manager to general manager of the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

Terry Lockridge & Dunn announces the following promotions: Chad Stecher (see photo) from senior accountant to tax manager and Hayley Norton (see photo) from staff accountant to senior accountant, both in its Iowa City office; Ben Seyfer (see photo) from staff accountant to senior accountant and Paige Zieser (see photo) from administrative assistant to accounting specialist, both in its Cedar Rapids office.

Mercy Medical Center has hired Alan Whitters (see photo) as medical director of behavioral services at Mercy Family Counseling, 1340 Blairs Ferry Rd., Hiawatha. He previously was with Associates for Behavioral Healthcare, Hiawatha.

Courtny Pacha (see photo) and Erin Duncan (see photo) have joined AW Welt Insurance as customer service agents in the financial services department.

Metro Wire and Cable-Iowa City hired Nathan Lovich as its sales consultant. He previously worked with Ensignal Wireless in the Aspen Valley, Colo., area.

She was previously with St. Clare Health Center, an affiliate of the SSM Health Care System that operates in Wisconsin, Illinois, Oklahoma and Missouri.

Lottie Miller (see photo) of Millhiser Smith Agency has earned the Certified School Risk Manager designation.

Kyle Zimmerman, financial representative with Securian Advisors MidAmerica Inc. has earned the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Barry Frantz (see photo), a partner with Terry Lockridge & Dunn, has earned the Enrolled Agent designation from the Internal Revenue Service.

Chris Honkomp has been named Bergan Paulsen’s managing partner in Cedar Rapids. Honkomp, who oversees the strategic direction for the firm, succeeds Dave Happel, who is retiring this year.
