Iowa City Police have located the missing boy.


Police in Iowa City are looking for a boy who walked away from school without a coat or jacket this morning.

The 12-year-old boy walked away from Longfellow Elementary school promoting an immediate response from the school and police officials.

The child is described as a black male, 5'5", 120 lbs., with short hair, according to a new release. He was last seen wearing jeans, a grey hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves & hood and stripes on the front, and red and black high-top althetic shoes.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately, police said.
