Income equality goals won’t work here

President Barack Obama recently declared that, for the remainder of his term, he will target solving income inequality. Really? Sounds great! Who’s against equality? What exactly will this “equality” look like? Do we all throw our paychecks into a pot and then divvy it up?

OK, count me in. I’m quitting my job and signing up today, but don’t tell anyone. Somebody has to work. Now wait, I think this is communism. I don’t want to live in a gray, cinder-block housing project. I’ll keep my job. Good luck with that income inequality stuff. Didn’t work too well for Russia. Won’t work here.
