Hills Bank and Trust announces promotions

Hills Bank and Trust Co., Coralville, promoted Brian Globokar (see photo) from vice president, trust officer, to senior vice president, trust officer, in its Cedar Rapids office, 3905 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE. Also promoted were Katie Miller (see photo) from commercial deposits officer to first vice president, commercial deposits, in its Iowa City South Gilbert Street office and Matt Olson (see photo), from real estate loan officer to first vice president, real estate lender, in its Iowa City Eastside office, 2621 Muscatine Ave.

Rockwell Collins has named Craig Olson (see photo) as vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems. He was previously senior director and site leader of the firm’s Head-up Guidance Systems business based in Wilsonville, Ore.

Bankers Trust, Cedar Rapids, has promoted Mike Tiernan (see photo) to senior vice president, manager of private banking and consumer services. Also promoted was Matt Teply (see photo) to assistant vice president, consumer operations manager and CRA officer.

Ohnward Bank & Trust, Marion, promoted Dave Jontz (see photo) to market president, overseeing daily operations in the Linn County market.


Linn County Physical Therapy hired Jenna Hindman (see photo) as a staff physical therapist.

Converge Consulting hired Michael Sapiro (see photo) as senior digital strategist.

Terri Ballard (see photo) has joined Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, as nurse manager for Hospice of Mercy. She was previously with University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Heather Cox (see photo) has joined NXT Bank as a personal banker in its downtown Cedar Rapids office. She was previously with Bank of the West, Cedar Rapids.

Mount Mercy University hired Kelli Sanders (see photo) as coordinator of marketing and media content. She was previously with Community Corrections Improvement Association.

Acumen, an employee benefits firm in Cedar Rapids, has hired Aubrey McElmeel-Balkman (see photo) as account coordinator, and Hannah Spina (see photo) as benefit services coordinator.


ImpactCR, a program of the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, has named the following advisory board members: Casey Ealy (see photo), SPS, Inc., Hiawatha; Nate Weber (see photo), Back In Line Chiropractic, Hiawatha; and Tallis Strub (see photo), Tallis Dance, Cedar Rapids.
