Published: January 15 2014 | 11:39 am - Updated: 29 March 2014 | 2:08 am in, a national organization of progressive veterans, released a television ad campaign this week in Iowa and Nebraska supporting the Renewable Fuel Standard  (RFS). The $115,000 ad buy airs this week in Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Omaha, Neb. and Washington D.C., according to a press release. A soldier in the ad says cuts in the RFS could lead to a "greater flow of oil dollars to our enemies" that could be used against American troops.
