This week in We Create Here, community engagement manager Sarah Binder breaks down the types of funding available to Corridor startups. She also talks about how We Create Here is working with local venture capitalists and entrepreneurs to develop a complete picture of the funding ecosystem.

Don't miss Binder's first-draft map of entrepreneurship in our region on wecreatehere.net and weigh in on other people and resources that should be included.

Also this week in We Create Here, Kiran Sood shares advice for racially and ethnically diverse entrepreneurs from organizations such as Iowa Department of Human Rights,  Kirkwood Small Business Development Center, the Regional Economic Development Institute and U.S. Small Business Administration.

Read more from Sood on how First United Methodist of North Liberty is embracing its linguistically diverse membership.

Last but not least, meet new team member Quinn Pettifer.
