A few weeks ago, we got the first Iowa-Iowa State meeting of ranked men's basketball teams since 1987.

But what's going on in a 48-hour period starting today is an even rarer bird. Iowa and Iowa State are both ranked and playing Top Ten teams.

Tonight, it's No. 22 Iowa at No. 4 Wisconsin. Tuesday in Ames, it's No. 9 Baylor at No. 13 Iowa State.

The combined records of the four teams is 52-3, and one of those losses came in the Iowa-ISU game. Iowa State and Wisconsin are two of the seven unbeaten teams in Division I.

Through Friday, Wisconsin was fourth in the Sagarin Ratings, Iowa State fifth, Iowa eighth, and Baylor 23rd. Through Friday in the RPI, Wisconsin was first, Iowa State sixth, Iowa 21st and Baylor 23rd.

The four have wins over the likes of Kentucky, Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan, Saint Louis, Xavier, Boise State, Dayton and BYU. Good teams, all.

So, big games tonight and Tuesday. Is anything going on in sports on Monday night?
