We have lots of bullying and I think it should stop. My school, Arthur Elementary School, not only has posters and assemblies to talk about bullying, but we also have PARRT tickets for when we are being good and doing our job. PARRT stands for Personal best, Active listening, Respect, Responsibility and Trustworthiness. My school also has teachers looking out for bullying.

If one of my friends or anyone was getting bullied, I would try to stop the bully by telling the bully to stop and I would tell an adult so they could help. If I were getting bullied, I would tell them to stop. I also found if I agree with the bully by saying the same thing about myself in a positive way they get confused and stop. If that didn’t work, I would ignore them and then tell a teacher or adult.

I have gotten bullied before. A boy in my class was calling me names, but I stood up for myself and told him to stop. He finally stopped. I also have helped a kid who was getting bullied. A different kid was calling her names, so we told him to stop and when he did not, we ignored him, and he got sick of us and stopped.

I hope everyone can make an effort to stop or tame bullying.
